ITEM DESCRIPTION: SAVE BIG on a BRAND NEW pair of Black Door Sill Plates for 1979 1980 1981 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 with "Mustang" Emblem. Replace those scuffed up sill plate that your eyes are drawn to every time you get into your Mustang. This is a standard sill plate made out of urethane from Original Ford Tooling then notched using a CNC machine to form a recessed pocket for the actual mustang trunk emblem to sit flush. These sill plates are an exact fit for any LX, GT or Cobra Mustang. Sold as a pair. (SPE2)

Meet the Porsche Macan small SUV
Thu, 16 Feb 2012The small Porsche SUV that goes on sale about 18 months will wear the Macan nameplate, the German automaker said on Thursday. Until now, the SUV project had been known by the code name Cajun, created from the concept of “Cayenne Junior.” Porsche says Macan is “derived from the Indonesian word for tiger and combines suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics.” The Porsche Macan will share a platform with the Audi Q5 and will be built at the Porsche plant in Leipzig, Germany, that now builds the Cayenne. Porsche is spending $650 million to expand the Leipzig plant, adding a body shop and a paint shop.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013The Porsche Macan (pictured) starts production in December with a bolder look It does seem that the baby Cayenne – the new, Audi Q5 based Porsche Macan – has been on its way for a while, but Porsche has now confirmed production will start in December, with first Macans hitting Porsche showrooms in early 2014. But despite the Macan having been spied many times, seemingly almost undisguised, we really don’t know what it will look like. That’s because Porsche’s man in charge of the design of the Macan - Michael Mauer – has admitted that Porsche has had to go back to the drawing board with the Macan to try and address its design in light of the huge success of the Range Rover Evoque.
