Brand:Rover Surface Finish:Steel and tinted glass Other Part Number:SD1BackHatch,Glass-001 Country/Region of Manufacture:United Kingdom

This is ONE original back Hatch door with glass and trim from a US 1980 Rover 3500 or SD1. I have three, shown in the photo. I believe the silver one has least rust, but is missing some stainless steel trim.I will take it from the others. The silver one seems to be missing the wiring harness, and wire hole has been plugged. I could remove harness for one of the others. Note,if you only need glass and have a good door, I would charge a little less for one with more rust, but will Not remove the glass, as the door should protect it in shipping.I also have other parts for this car... ..Please contact me , with questions at     T.  1 954 JAGUARS  or C. anytime  1 954 JAGPART. Honda Civic (2011) at Frankfurt motor show

Mon, 12 Sep 2011

This is the ninth generation of Honda’s small car star, which has gestated from trend setting (Civic Mk1 of 1972) to stylistically dull if technically advanced (most) to sci-fi-style wacko but technically mainstream (Civic Mk8). New Civics, over the years, have been about as easy to forecast as David Beckham’s next hairstyle as Honda engineers – never the most predictable bunch – veer from brave to bashful. The new Civic, unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, is eye-catching although less off-centre than generation eight, and is closed basely mechanically on its predecessor.

Great Americans: 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T

Thu, 04 Jul 2013

The classic Dodge Challenger's most famous movie role was the 1971 box-office success "Vanishing Point." A pastiche of man vs. society, a legendary staple in classic narrative -- as exemplified by such works as "1984," "Fahrenheit 451," "Charlotte's Web," Idiocracy -- "Vanishing Point" was a movie made by those who commonly styled themselves as "auteurs," making a "film" for the corporate overlords at Warner Brothers, who just happened to land themselves some brand-new Chrysler products and ultimately went on to create, as the DVD reissue box art that I found in the $5 movie bin at Wal-Mart claims, "the ultimate car chase movie!" The movie is rife for philosophical introspection, performed as it is by Philosophy 132 majors needing to pass their Humanities requirement and who couldn't find any more copies of "American Beauty" at their local Best Buy. So, ignore the movie.

Brian Wilson on the Beach Boys' car songs

Mon, 11 May 2009

Brian Wilson, the musical giant behind so much of the Beach Boys great music, sang at the Petersen gala in Los Angeles last week, and there were plenty of songs about cars and drag racing in the mix. "We're going to do a series of car songs because this place has a lot of cars," Wilson announced before leading his 10-piece band into "Little Deuce Coupe," "409," "All Summer Long" and "Shut Down." The band played to a packed house at the museum's annual fundraiser. Wilson's set was surely the most entertaining in the Petersen's 15 years of fundraising galas.
