CAR sets new hybrid speed world record in Infiniti M35h
Tue, 20 Sep 2011Infiniti M35h Hybrid (2011) long-term test review CAR Magazine has set a new Guinness World Record for an acceleration run in a hybrid car. Associate editor Tim Pollard drove an Infiniti M35h hybrid to record a 13.9sec time over the standing quarter mile - as quick as a Lamborghini Countach would've been in the 1980s. Bertone to mark its 100th birthday with Turin exhibition
Mon, 11 Jun 2012Bertone is celebrating its 100th birthday with an historic exhibition at Turin's National Car Museum from 29 June to 14 October called ‘One hundred years of car design'. With the support of the Italian Prime Minister, the Region of Piedmont, the Province and City of Turin and the UIGA (Italian Union of Automotive Journalists), this exhibition displays an overview of Bertone's most significant models, such as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint (1954), the Lamborghini Miura (1966), the Lancia Stratos HF (1972) and the Fiat X1/9, which celebrates its 40th birthday this year. Founded in 1912, Bertone is one of the most prestigious and renowned Carrozzeria.

Thu, 23 Dec 2010Ferrari is used to building high-speed sports cars, but now it's undertaken a far more difficult design study: building the Ferrari sleigh for Father Christmas. Penned by the design team in Maranello led by Flavio Manzoni, the Ferrari supercar sleigh is said to use many of the design principles which underpin its roadgoing supercars such as the 458 Italia and California. It’s a lightweight sledge with the iconic Prancing Horse depicted on its flanks and racing numerals on the door panels.
