Citroen Tubik Concept – it’s a Citroen H Van MPV
Sun, 04 Sep 2011Citroen Tubik Concept - Frankfurt-bound The Citroen Tubik is a slightly bonkers concept from Citroen that’s heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show in a week or so. But it does have possibilities as a production car. Looking like a modern take on a Citroen H Van (the cheap and cheerful, do anything, post-war lugging machine) the Tubik is Citroen’s idea of what a high-tech executive shuttle should be.
Vettel and Webber make it a 1-2 for Red Bull in China
Sun, 19 Apr 2009Red Bull's Vettel and Webber celebrate their 1-2 in Shanghai [ad#ad-1] This is the most topsy-turvy start to a Grand Prix season in many a year. First we have a rookie team – Brawn GP, which didn’t even exist a few weeks ago – taking the lead and winning the first two races of the season. And now, in Shanghai at the Chinese Grand Prix, Red Bull has achieved its first ever F1 win with a stunning 1-2 by drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber After two days of high temperatures and sunshine the Shanghai Grand Prix set off in a procession behind the safety car in torrential rain, and stayed that way for the first eight laps.
2014 Subaru XV – less choice, more refinement
Mon, 10 Feb 2014The 2014 Subaru XV (pictured) gets a bit of a tweak The Subaru XV arrived in the UK in 2012, and it’s a perfectly able and reasonably-priced compact crossover from Subaru. But within a year of launching the XV Subaru decided to inject a bit more appeal in to the XV with a price cut of £2,300 across the range and now, not more than six months later, they’re fiddling with the XV range again. The 2.0 litre petrol XV gets new valve-train components to cut engine noise and revised suspension, with extra soundproofing improving NVH levels across the range, a revised power steering system for added stability and feel and thicker and reshaped suspension lower arm and extra reinforcement around the base of the A-Pillar for better crash performance.
