This is a set of 5 rims, tires, center caps lugnuts and washers for 1982-1983 Datsun 280ZX Turbo. Factory Turbo 6-JJx15-10 rims. Includes 4 fairly new Yokohama YK580 205/60/15 tires with very little use on them and one older tire for the spare. These were on a 1978 280Z project car I am parting out. These are great upgrades for all 1970-1983 240Z,260Z, 280Z and 280ZX, Bolt on and go. Everything needed is here. Even balanced. The rims are used, have normal wear and tear, some light scratches here and there but no bigtime curb rash. Some wear from balance weights over the years, but these will clean up nicely.A couple of the Turbo center caps are a bit loose and have some broken plastic tabs that hold them to the rim, but nothing too bad. Get these whole set just for the price of a set of new tires. I put no shipping but I can send these UPS in a few boxes or just strap them on a pallet and have them truck freighted to you. Porsche 911 (2011) the first official video of the 991

Tue, 19 Jul 2011

Prototypes of Porsche’s new 991-spec 911 haven’t been snapped out on test by our spies this week, so just in case you’ve been having withdrawal symptoms, Stuttgart’s most famous sports car manufacturer has released its own video of its iconic car. What does Porsche’s official video of the new 911 reveal?  Shot in South Africa during the 991’s final validation and testing phase, the video is our best look yet at the new 911 on the move. We finally get to hear the flat six engines, and get glimpses under the bonnet and inside its Panamera-inspired interior – look closely and you can spy the seven forward speeds etched onto the gearknob for the manual ‘box.  Beyond that there’s little more to see, as Porsche won’t reveal the new 911 until the 2011 Frankfurt motor show this September.

New Land Rover Freelander will actually be a Discovery

Wed, 22 May 2013

It seems – as we expected – that Land Rover are looking to make more sense of their range of off-roaders as new models are launched, and are going to concentrate on three core brands – Range Rover, Discovery and Defender – instead of the current mish-mash where many models really overlap with others (the top end Discoverys are really a cheaper Range Rover). So the next Freelander will become an entry-level Discovery with underpinnings borrowed from the Evoque (which is itself based on the current Freelander platform, a development of the Ford Galaxy’s platform), and arrive in both 5-seat and 7-seat guise, with the new Discovery ’5′ getting a platform based on the new Range Rover and perhaps spawning two models. The new Discovery range will be targeted as a ‘Lifestyle’ core range for Land Rover (much as the original Disco was) and the Range Rover range will be both sporty and luxurious, with a 7-seat Grand Evoque XL joining the current Evoque, Range Rover Sport and Range Rover.

Hagerty predicts future classics

Classic-car insurer Hagerty released its latest Hagerty Hot List last week, highlighting today's cars that are expected to be future classics. This comes on the heels of Arizona auction week, where record-breaking sales take place yearly. “After more than 20 years of witnessing car-collecting trends, we have the unique ability to look at new cars through the eyes of a collector,” said McKeel Hagerty, CEO of Hagerty Insurance.
