The Hybrid version of the Pathfinder is all new for 2014, and it will be offered in a total of six versions. All Pathfinder Hybrid models use a supercharged 2.5-liter V6 gasoline engine paired with an electric motor, which draws power from a compact Lithium-ion battery.

Donckerwolke moves from Head of VW Advanced Design, a post he has held for little over a year. Production of U.S.-spec Lotus Exige and Elise to end in August

Lotus said on Thursday that it will pull the models from the United States because the airbags no longer meet safety standards. Rules require cars to have smart airbags, which adjust deployment for the speed of impact.
