Last year we asked you, our loyal readers, to choose your favorite automobile design from a shortlisted selection of 10 production and 10 concept cars unveiled in 2008, and in the process find our Car Design of the Year (CDOTY). Fiat 500 Street – yet another 500 Special Edition

Fiat has revealed another special edition 500 – the Fiat 500 Street – with extra equipment and a sporty look. It must be all of a week since we’ve had a limited edition Fiat 500, so it was long overdue. Determined to produce as many limited edition 500s as they possibly can to get punters through showrooms, Fiat has added the Fiat 500 Street to its current lineup in a bid for a few more hard-earned Pounds heading their way.

Taewan Kim has been promoted to Vice President of Design at GM Daewoo. Having started his career in International Automotive Design in the United Kingdom in 1991, Kim was involved in designing various Japanese and European automobiles, including British Airway's First Class seat design. From 1995, he served as Chief Exterior Designer at the former Daewoo Motor Company, leading the exterior design of the Magnus, Lacetti, Kalos and Matiz.
