-Like new Maier plastics in great shape
-New clutch pack and springs
-Cobra exhaust (Awesomely loud)

-Frame was sandblasted and powder coated black.

One very powerful machine (Hard to keep the front end down in 1st through 3rd)

Parts included in the sale are: New aftermarket rear brake caliper, all oem hoses and reservoir for rear brakes (Just need caliper bracket that connects to the brake stay), oem grab bar, and a few other miscellaneous parts

Audi S1 becomes Audi A1 1.4 TFSI

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

The Audi S1 becomes the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI Audi let it leak they were working on making a hot version of the Audi A1, and we fully expected that the Audi S1 would turn up at the Paris Motor Show. So when we heard that Audi had confirmed – but without detail – that the Audi S1 would be at Paris everything made sense, apart from the lack of detail. But now we know why we got no detail – Audi has backtracked on the S1 and has instead planted the oily bits from the Polo GTI in to an A1 and Christened it the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI.

We Road Test the 2010 Range Rover Sport – on and off road It’s a remarkable 40 years this year since Land Rover introduced the world to its first luxury 4×4 – the Range Rover – and changed the car landscape forever. And despite many pretenders to its throne the Range Rover is still the ultimate SUV, and probably the only luxury 4×4 that is as at home in a field as it is on the Kings Road. But by the time the Range Rover passed its thirtieth birthday and we moved in to a new millennium it started to see challenges to its throne from more road-oriented SUVS.

Land Rover Range_e – Hybrid test-bed

Fri, 14 May 2010

The Range Rover Sport based Land Rover Range_e Pragmatically, Land Rover are working hard to change the world’s perception of its products by shouting as loudly as they can about the ‘Green’ credentials they have, from off-setting carbon emissions to 45k miles on every car they sell to adding stop-start to the Freelander 2. But long-term Land Rover are looking to introduce new, lightweight cars in 2012/2013 with the same aluminium underpinnings as Jaguar, and introducing some hybrid technology on the way. With that in mind they’ve put together a Range Rover Sport based Range_e to trial the tech ahead of its use in the next generation of Land Rover’s cars and are planning on running five cars as test-beds this year.
