Part (2) 6122P2 Actual piston size: 64.45mm MOS2 (Teflon/Molybdenum) Coated Skirts: A rolled-on application process provides a bond that is 10 times stronger than other spray on coatings. Benefits include increased heat transfer, reduced friction, and helping to eliminate cold seizures. Machined Smooth Heads: Reflects combustion heat and reduces carbon buildup, protecting the top of the piston. Some tests have shown this feature can increase horsepower and fuel economy by up to 6%. Anodized Domes: Increases heat resistance and durability; pistons with anodized domes are 75% stronger than non-anodized pistons. Ford reaches agreement to sell Volvo to Geely for $1.8 billion
Mon, 29 Mar 2010Ford has reached an agreement to sell its Swedish brand Volvo to Chinese carmaker Geely for about $1.8 billion in a multinational sale expected to close in the third quarter of this year. The pending agreement was announced on Sunday morning, and Ford will continue to supply powertrains, stamping and other parts to Volvo after the sale. If it closes, the landmark deal delivers the premium Volvo brand--long a benchmark for automotive safety--to a Chinese firm that has ambitious plans for growth.
The Duster is back at the Geneva motor show--and it's a Dacia

Named the Duster, the concept was designed as an image booster for Dacia, which makes the low-cost Logan car. The Duster is Dacia's first concept car and it was partly designed by a Renault design team based in Bucharest.
