Up for sale is a well maintained 1987 944S DOHC High Compression engine, this engine was in the 944S models in 1987-88 so there arent many out there. this is a good Engine with only 133k original miles, new timing belt and water pump done less than a year ago and only 300 miles on them. This auction is for the complete engine. Exhaust, Intake and everything in between! The only reason I am getting rid of it is because i have another engine i am installing that better suits the purpose in using the car for. I also have the original 083D 5speed transaxle for sale also from the car. I still have the engine in the car at the moment so the the potential owner can hear it start and run. Once i get a clear payment i will carefully remove it. Transaxle is already removed. I have listed as local pickup only but i will ship at buyers expense and compensation for time and materials. Fourth Chinese Auto Design Competition launched

Sponsored by China's Society of Automotive Engineers, the China Industrial Design Association, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Fengtai District People's Government, the competition is the largest and most authoritative state-level professional event. Held biennially, this year's Chinese Auto Design competition is divided into two categories: Design Innovation (which judges current vehicles created by automakers) and Creative Design.

Fri, 12 Feb 2010The Lexus CT 200h will debut at Geneva next month Update: 26th Feb: Lexus has now done the full Geneva reveal of the Lexus CT 200h Lexus did threaten when they brought the LF-Ch concept to the Frankfurt Motor Show in all its goldness that the future for Lexus was hybrids. And despite the less than universal praise the LF-Ch concept received for its looks ‘only a mother could love’ we’re going to get the production version at Geneva next month – the Lexus CT 200h. Lexus are calling the CT 200h “…the first full hybrid vehicle in the premium compact segment” and want us to think of the CT 200h as a big car with all the luxuries you would expect, but in a smaller package and kind to fluffy bunnies.
New Jaguar XFR-S burns up the Goodwood hillclimb (video)
Sat, 23 Mar 2013The new Jaguar XFR-S – the most powerful XF to date – has just launched and we have video of the XFR-S on the Goodwood Hillclimb. With an even more aggressive look than the XFR, the XFR-S gets 542bhp and 502lb/ft of torque, enough to move Jaguar’s appealing super saloon to 62mph in just 4.4 seconds. Until now all we’ve had are the XFR-S photos Jaguar delivered (together with a dynamic video too), but with this week seeing Goodwood starting the push for this year’s Festival of Speed with a press day, we have the XFR-S out playing on the hillclimb, and Shmee 150 managed to capture Jaguar’s new cat playing.
