These are the pump motor, hydraulic rams and lines/hoses from a 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier Z-24 convertible top.  I have been told that these will also fit the 1988 - maybe '92 Cavalier and possibly the Pontiac Sunbird.  I have also been told that these may work on the Firebird or Camaro F Platform, 3rd Generation convertibles.  However, I am not positive so you will have to research before bidding.   The car itself was new at the time, the top raised up and down a couple of times before the car was damaged in an accident.  The parts are all nice and in working order.  They were removed from the car and have been stored in a box and forgotten about.  There is a little rubber bumper on the motor that is missing the tip (storage damage).  These might also fit other years of Cavalier and maybe Pontiac Sunbird?

Price has been reduced from previous listing.  Cleaning out the man cave!  Also, I have been and will be listing various auto service manuals.

Thanks for looking and please ask questions before you bid.

Driven: BMW i8

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

When BMW unveiled the Vision EfficientDynamics concept at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, we wrote: "for our money, it's the first time a major carmaker has really attempted to communicate ‘green' technology in an aesthetic sense." Fast-forward five years and we've swapped the show halls of the IAA for a beauty spot on the north-west coast of Scotland. And, while the car's name has changed to i8, our sentiment towards this genre- and era-defining car remains. Admittedly the production car's design execution hasn't received the universal praise of its concept forebears, but, on a remote outpost of the British Isles, a Protonic Blue i8 couldn't look more exotic.

Jaguar F-Type: FAST (video)

Tue, 14 Aug 2012

With the Jaguar F-Type close to launch at the Paris Motor Show, Jaguar has released a new video extolling its performance potential. Although we’ve been looking at the Jaguar F-Type Roadster (albeit with a black and white camouflage paint job) since April, it doesn’t officially arrive until Paris next month. But Jaguar has learnt that the Interwebs like a constant drip of new information on hotly anticipated cars, so they’ve dropped a new video for the F-Type focussing on its performance.
