The manufacturers number DOES reflect the model year. This number will usually be: One letter followed by 3 to 4 numbers. These numbers will include the last 2 digits of the model year. The order of these numbers has changed over the years. Older carts serial number is located under the seat on drivers side wheel well. The serial number is a 6 or 7 digit number that does NOT indicate the model year.
