You are bidding on a ford world class t-5 transmission. The transmission shifts into all 6 gears 1st through R, however, the transmission grinds loudly going into 2nd and 4th. It is missing a tab on the drivers side of the transmission, however, this missing tab does not effect the form fit or function of the transmission. If you have skill at rebuilding transmissions, or you're looking for a transmission for a school auto shop project, or you want a transmission to try your hand at rebuild it yourself (there are some excellent t-5 training videos on youtube.) This maybe the transmission for you. The transmission was rebuild in 2005 by a local transmission shop.
I am not a transmission expert, nor do I play one on TV, but I would not recommend pulling your transmission and replacing it with this one, until its been looked over by someone in the know, unless of course you dropped your transmission on the road after a hole shot and you need your car to get to work.
You may return the transmission within 14 days of delivery as long as the transmission is in the same condition as when shipped, however, please keep in mind  that your return shipping could run as high as $100. So PLEASE ask questions before bidding. Transmission sold as is.
Transmission will be shipped without oil.

Karmann-Ghia Coupé redesigned by Brazilian students

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

The winners of the Karmann-Ghia Brazilian student competition to design a modern interpretation of its classic Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia Coupé have been revealed. Over almost 60 years the German-Italian company has become an important supplier of car bodies and tooling in Brazil, but the market has lacked a model carrying the Karmann-Ghia badge since the '70s. The original coupé, which inspired the contest, was launched in Brazil in 1962 and remained in the market for 10 years before it was replaced by the Volkswagen SP – considered the first car completely developed in the country.

Mini unveils Clubman concept at Geneva Motor Show with more doors

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

This week Mini has brought the Clubman concept to the Geneva Motor Show, and even though it's officially a concept car for the purposes of its appearance at the 2014 edition of the Salon International de l'Auto, the car itself is basically production ready behind the scenes. The Clubman has grown unexpectedly for the 2015 model year redesign, to the point where it might be confused with the five-door Hardtop, but that's a different model which we'll see later in the year. Even though the Clubman now boasts six doors, it will be positioned somewhat differently from its five-door Hardtop sibling, even though in practice the two will be offering essentially the same package.

CDN 中国汽车设计大赛获奖选手在 Umeå Two of the Car Design China Award 2012 winners won the fantastic prize of a two-week fully funded placement at Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design to mix with like-minded young designers and learn new skills with some of the latest technology available. We spoke to Umeå's Programme Director for Transportation Design Education Demian Horst to find out how Fang Siyuan of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry and Huang Hongliang of Huazhong University of Science and Technology got on. After arriving on 21 September the two students joined up with the course's 20 international students – including two Chinese students – in the studio before undertaking their first task, which was to join both transport classes in a sketch workshop with BMWDesignworksUSA designer and Umeå alumnus Tommy Forsgren.
