This is a parts book for OMC Johnson and Evinrude outboards.  Shows expanded views of all parts.  Printed in 1989, so I assume for 1990 model year.  Says Preliminary Edition, but it looks pretty complete to me, right down to the paint number for touch ups.  This one is for 70 horse power models E70ELESB, E70TLESB, TE70TLESB, J70ELESB, J70TLESB, and TJ70TLESB.  Says all model numbers preceded by a A, B, C, H, S, or V.  This is technically used, but very clean and looks new and unused.  Buyer pays $2.50 P&H.

Used car sales return to pre-recession levels

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

USED CAR SALES reached 7.1 million units in 2012, on a par with pre-recession levels and a climb of 6.4%, according to a comprehensive market report. The 2013 BCA Report by British Car Auctions valued the used car market a £38.1 billion in 2012, putting it £5.8 billion ahead of the new car market over the same period. In particular sales of younger used cars (0-2 years) increased significantly, rising by 18.6% to 762,000 and reversing a three year trend of falling volumes in this age sector.

New Mercedes A Class to spawn electric version made by Tesla

Sun, 20 May 2012

New Mercedes A Class EV on the way via Tesla It would appear that Mercedes-Benz are planning an electric version of the new Mercedes A Class with a powertrain by Tesla. The new Mercedes A Class arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March as the Mercedes answer to the BMW 1 Series, and a very convincing new A Class it looks too. From an entry-level A Class which will get a Renault 1.5 litre dCi lump to deliver a sub-99g/km model all the way up (eventually) to a 4WD, 300bhp AMG A Class, it looks like the new A Class will cover the bases for every buyer, and then some.

Electric car world record on single charge – but it’s pointless

The Japanese Electric Vehicle Club did 632 miles in this Electric Daihatsu Mira Van When car endurance records are set they feel relevant only if they are real-world records. Records set by a car you can buy doing something you could do. A bit like Tom Ford’s run to Munich and back in a BMW 320d ED last week when he managed over 1,000 miles on a single standard tank of fuel.
