Hyundai reveals updated 2011 Genesis coupe range
Fri, 16 Jul 2010After holding its own against more established rear-wheel-drive coupe offerings such as the Ford Mustang and the Nissan Z, Hyundai is updating its Genesis coupe for the 2011 model year. Highlighting the changes is the addition of a new 3.8 R-Spec equipment package, which previously was only available on the turbocharged four-cylinder model. Included in the R-spec package are 19-inch wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires, Brembo brakes, a stiffened suspension, a limited-slip differential and adjustable front camber bolts.

When we reported last year that Peugeot Citroen were planning to idle their plant in Trnava, Western Slovakia we said that this was just the tip of the iceberg for Peugeot Citroen, and that they would have to take far more drastic action if they were to survive. Infiniti 'gunning for 700,000 sales' - Ghosn
Thu, 23 Jun 2011Infiniti is planning to announce a new sales target of 10% global luxury market share - quadrupling sales to 700,000 a year - in a new mid-term statement due this summer. Renault Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn told CAR that Infiniti is on line to sell 165,000 cars worldwide in 2011 but said Nissan was investing heavily in its premium division to swell sales considerably. It's an ambitious goal: if successful, Infiniti would be encroaching on the 1m+ territory today dominated by the German luxury brands.
