Toyota GT86 Convertible teased by FT-86 Open Concept for Geneva
Fri, 01 Feb 2013A roadster version of the Toyota GT86 now seems certain as Toyota tease an open-topped roadster for Geneva with the FT-86 Concept. It took Toyota a long time to deliver the promise of an ‘affordable’ sports car, but the Toyota GT86 has delivered a proper driver’s car at a sensible price (and you can even have it as a Subaru BRZ if you choose). Ford Interceptor (2007): first official pictures
Tue, 02 Jan 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 January 2007 12:51 Ford Interceptor Concept: the lowdown What do you get if you take the iconic Ford Mustang and mix in a four-door saloon with a large dollop of attitude? One-off Ferrari 458 pays tribute to Niki Lauda
Tue, 26 Nov 2013One-off Ferrari 458 pays tribute to Niki Lauda Younger readers might not see the connection between Ferrari and Niki Lauda; after all, Niki Lauda is Chairman of the Mercedes F1 team, not Ferrari. But back in the 1970s, Niki Lauda was the Prince of the Ferrari F1 team, notching up driver titles in 1975 and 1977 in a Ferrari (and suffering horrific burns at the Nurburgring in 1975). Although Lauda left Ferrari in 1977 on less than good terms, the Ron Howard tribute film to the ’70s battle between Lauda and James Hunt – Rush – has obviously had an impact on one of Ferrari’s wealthier clients, who has commissioned Ferrari’s Tailor Made Programme to create a Ferrari 458 dedicated to Niki Lauda.
