Volvo pricing deals at Costco

There's more to your Costco membership than piling bulk paper towels on a flat-bed cart and filling up on free food samples. Through July 31, registered Costco members can get deals on all 2013 and 2014 Volvos. Volvo isn't the first major automaker to offer deals to registered members of the bulk-sales retailer via the Costco Auto Program.

Brits taking risks abroad

THOUSANDS of British drivers risk breaking down or paying an expensive repair bill while on holiday in Europe. More than a quarter of UK drivers head to the continent without checking their car or having it serviced in preparation for a long journey. The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) found 33% of drivers make no effort to check their car, motorbike or motorhome before going on holiday.

VW CrossBlue concept (2013) first official pictures

This is Volkswagen's next SUV, just revealed at the 2013 Detroit motor show. Called the CrossBlue, it's a 'mid-sized' six-seat SUV aimed specifically at the American market. Yet judging by these images, and to these European eyes, there doesn’t seem to be much ‘mid-sized’ about it – it's a mammoth five metres long, coming in at 200mm longer than a VW Touareg.
