Product Description

SAVE ON A GREAT SELECTION OF LAND ROVER

AND RANGE ROVER PARTS

Up for auction is the Harman Kardon multi-channel amplifier (Land Rover part # AMR2872) that came as original equipment on all 1995 Range Rover Classic models.  This particular amplifier came in on a low mileage example and is in excellent working condition.  The entire audio system in this truck was working as is should from the tweeters on the a pillars to the subwoofer in the cargo space.

If you have one of these extremely rare 1995 Range Rover Classics with the original factory system installed, an amplifier like this is extremely valuable. Pick this one up as a spare or to install in your system so you can bring it back to life.  Face it, the last thing you want to do to your 1995 Classic is hack away at the wiring to install a non factory unit.

New Land Rover Defender – Project Icon

Sat, 26 Sep 2009

Land Rover are planning a new Defender to launch in 2012 As always, the Defender is going to be the traditional Land Rover as – unlike the rest of the Land Rover Range which is moving over to aluminium platforms – the new Defender will be based on the existing – and very capable – current model Discovery platform. The use of the T5, twin rail steel chassis from the Discovery is vital if the Defender is to continue to offer the range of body styles currently available – including hard and soft tops – which make the Defender the versatile work horse it is. But the Defender will still be going on a diet and will be a lighter car than the current Model.

General Motors is set to strengthen its longstanding commitment to Detroit's College for Creative Studies with a $2.5 million donation, a contribution that will help the university undertake a $145 million redevelopment of its A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education. This is not the first time that GM has given to CCS – the ongoing relationship between them sees members of the GM design team teach and mentor students, while CCS also receives loans of industrial equipment from its Detroit neighbor.
