***FOR SALE AS IS FOR PARTS ONLY*** The engine started showing signs of antifreeze leak into the oil via the manifold gasket and was taken out of service in favor of a new engine. The engine was then dismantled and these are the parts. All parts appear to be fully useable but please use your own discretions - these are used internal engine parts and no returns will be accepted nor refunds issued. We are not engine people and may not know the signs to look for. However the engine was quiet and the the antifreeze had just started seeping and was not a wide open leak. 2011 Chevrolet Volt faces toughest test--consumers
Thu, 25 Nov 2010Scientists, journalists and a slew of other alleged experts have all weighed in on the 2011 Chevrolet Volt, and now the only verdict that truly matters--the public's--will be rendered. General Motors said 6,348 consumers have taken the extended-range car for a spin during a 12-city “Volt Unplugged Tour,” and not surprisingly, GM's reviewers like it. Still, initial feedback does appear to be truly positive.
Audi shifts to eight-speeds for most models
Wed, 12 May 2010A formal press conference probably won't happen until this summer, but we hear that Audi dealers have received their 2011 order guides, and it looks as though the company will be going from 0 to about 70 percent of U.S. sales being eight-speed automatic transmissions. Beginning this fall, the eight-speed will replace today's six-speed automatic in the A4 2.0-liter turbo sedan and wagon, the A5 2.0-liter turbo coupe and cabriolet, the Q5 2.0-liter turbo, the Q7 3.0-liter turbo, the Q7 diesel, the Q7 with the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 and the all-new A8 and A8L with the 4.2-liter V8.
