What I have offered is a good used mass air flow sensor tested and pulled from a salvage vehicle and is a direct fit for any of the following :

AEROSTAR 96 6-245 (4.0L)
AEROSTAR 97 6-245 (4.0L), ID F57F-CA
EXPLORER 96
EXPLORER 97 8-302 (5.0L), ID F57F-CA
MOUNTAINEER 97 ID F57F-CA
MUSTANG 96-00 6-232 (3.8L)

  Ident: F57F12B579CA
  Ident: F57FCA
  Ident: RMF12BCA
  Ident: RMF57F12B579CA

The mass air flow sensor is between the airbox and the engine and is a major part in how much fuel is given to the engine.  A bad mass air flow meter may either give you poor gas mileage (too much gas) or hard starting (not enough gas).

The part is from a salvage vehicle and is in all around good condition---I give a full one year warranty (replace or refund...your choice);  you can return your part for any reason.  Shipping is FREE in the US (including PR, HI & AK).

Porsche 911 Targa revealed at 2014 Detroit Motor Show

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Porsche has revealed an amazing retro-inspired new 911 Targa at the Detroit Motor Show – an open-top model that boasts a ‘wide bar’ look almost identical to the Targa style that went out of production two decades ago. First introduced back in the 1960s, Porsche’s return to the original Targa style has been combined with modern electrically-opening roof technology… and with models arriving in showrooms from this May, it’ll be an on-road retro reality before you know it.

One Lap of the Web: World of Wheels Edition

-- We reported on carbon-fiber wheels almost exactly a year ago. Back then, our Carbon Revolution test also came with a gaggle of obsequious matte-wrapped BMWs against a soundtrack of David Guetta and overpriced exhausts. This latest episode of "Inside Koenigsegg" examines the art of carbon fiber wheels at 280 mph.

Carlsson upgrades the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG for the Geneva motor show

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

If supercars had a spiritual home all to themselves, it probably would be the Geneva motor show. This year we'll see the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster and the Aston Martin V12 Zagato. But it's not only the home of production supercars; the tuning companies come out to show their wares as well.
