Parking Brake Boots (pair) for 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird F-body

You are bidding on one pair (2 boots) of new OEM black rubber boots that cover the brake backing plate where the parking brake cable enters the brake assembly.  These boots are not available from GM since they do not sell them as individual replacement parts.

These boots fit all 1998-2002 GM F Body (Chevrolet Camaro, Z28, SS or Pontiac Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, Firehawk) with the factory installed 10 bolt rear axle regardless of engine, transmission, rear end ratio, traction control, or other factory options.  Please verify that your car has not had a rear modification that would cause these not to fit.  These fit OEM/original rear brake assemblies.

Installation is not difficult but does require removal of the wheel assembly and partial disassembly of the brake hardware.  If this is beyond your mechanical ability, you can have a professional shop inspect your brake system while installing the replacement boots.

These boots are direct from Australia where the OEM manufacturer PBR brakes is located.  They have 024 on the boot which is for the 98-02 F-body only.

The photos are of the actual items being sold.  Please examine the photos closely as it represents the condition of the items more accurately than I can describe.  This auction is for one pair (2 pieces) of new rubber boots and 4 replacement screws which is enough for one vehicle.  Please be sure and ask all questions concerning this item before you bid.

I only accept payment by PayPal.  You must pay immediately after purchasing.

The UK's Department for Transport today claimed that hundreds of lives could be saved every year if all new cars had stability control fitted - totalling 4000 lives across Europe. A campaign to raise awareness of the potential benefits of ESC was launched last month in Rome by European commissioners and FIA president Max Mosley.

Lambo Superleggera (2010) at Geneva motor show

Mon, 01 Mar 2010

This beautiful green beast is the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, unveiled tonight at the Volkswagen Group’s big party ahead of tomorrow’s 2010 Geneva motor show.  This LP570-4 Superleggera will hit 62mph in 3.4 seconds (its predecessor took four tenths longer and the LP560-4 needs 3.7 seconds for the benchmark sprint), dash past 124mph after 10.2 seconds, and reach 202mph flat out. It’s not a harder, faster version of the special edition, rear-drive Balboni Gallardo, but a harder, faster version of the regular LP560-4. Spot on.
