Four artists let loose to customize Renault Twingo cabins [w/video]

Four examples of the revised version of Renault's Twingo have been given an artistic overhaul. Four artists created four very different visions, which went on display under the title ‘Cabinet of Curiosities' from December to January at L'Atelier Renault on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris. Four artistic disciplines – fashion, food, music and design – were represented by French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Italian chef Davide Scabin, former Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts and German designer Nils Holger Moormann, respectively.

We see time-capsule cars on a pretty regular basis, but they seldom happen to be proper time-travel cars as well. Of course we're talking about the DeLorean DMC-12, an automobile whose several thousand examples were believed to be largely accounted for. Just 333 Audi A1 Quattros will ever be built so they’ll be a rare sight on the road – and particularly in Britain as the entire production run is left-hand drive, and Audi UK will import a tiny number only if there’s enough customer interest. So I probably can’t afford an Audi A1 Quattro, and I might never see one – what am I missing out on?
