1998 Force by Mercury 75 HP Outboard Motor Complete Powerhead

This is a complete powerhead from a 1998 Force by Mercury 75 HP ELPT 3-cylinder outboard motor.  It has 130 psi compression in each cylinder.  It fits 1995-1999 motors.  The lower unit went bad.  The motor runs great.  It was used mostly in freshwater and has low hours.  I also have the complete motor with trim and tilt listed on another auction for sale.  It needs the lower unit, as stated here.  This auction is for the complete powerhead only.

Five most-watched car ads of 2011

Thu, 15 Dec 2011

Page views: They're life and death on the Web, and for an automaker trying to make an advertisement go viral, page views and the eyeballs viewing them are what it's all about. This year was big for the top-five viral automaker ads: Volkswagen's “The Force” spot hit 63 million views, while Fiat grabbed 27 million with its Jennifer Lopez song. The Chrysler “Imported From Detroit” Super Bowl ad was next, with 22 million views.

Algae-derived biodiesel blend hits San Francisco-area gas stations

Environmentally conscious drivers may have a new way of fueling up: a diesel fuel blend that consists of 20 percent algae-derived biofuel and 80 percent regular diesel arrived at four gas stations in the San Francisco Bay area earlier this week. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the fuel retails for $4.25 per gallon—the same cost as conventional diesel in the region. B20 is billed as compatible with any diesel-powered vehicle.

Chrysler is crushing 93 pre-production Dodge Vipers

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

Chrysler has ordered 93 first-generation Dodge Vipers to be crushed, including what is believed to be the fourth Viper ever made. A Chrysler representative sent a letter to South Puget Sound Community College, which currently owns the Viper with VIN# 4, informing them that they must crush the car within two weeks. Automakers regularly donate unsellable non-street legal vehicles to automotive-engineering programs at colleges and universities, reserving the right to order the vehicles destroyed for insurance purposes.
