While Audi and Ford have grabbed the headlines, it's clear that Hyundai isn't far behind, and on this evidence, may even be ahead in some areas of in-car electronics, before too long. Audi attempts to answer that with the RS7 Dynamic Edition, a trim package for the current RS7, which is pretty dynamic to begin with. The Dynamic Edition provides no power or suspension upgrades over the regular RS7, preferring to merely look more dynamic (as a proof-of-concept from the "Audi exclusive" program).

The effort will be focused on three primary areas: cutting vehicle weight, improving aerodynamics and reducing friction in the engine and transmission. Those three priorities already can be seen in the 2013 Altima, which went on sale in June with 20 percent better fuel economy than the outgoing model.
