This listing is for a (BRAND NEW)1999-20004 Land Rover Discovery 2 front cv driveshaft.This a direct replacement for the troublesome OE driveshaft.The shaft we offer is a fully serviceable unit with a total of 5 grease zerks.(1)greaseable 1310 series(369) u-joints which you can get from any parts store.(2)Longer slip & stub with greaseable sliding yoke.(3) greaseable cv head assembly which has a flat zerk & uses a needle type fitting.Our shaft is built with 2"x.120 HD DOM tubing and is fully balanced in our state of the art fabricating shop located in Milwaukee WI (MADE IN U.S.A.) This is a heavy duty upgrade front driveshaft which is a direct compatible replacement for the troubled OE style which is offered from the dealer and most competitors.The shaft they offer is not a serviceable shaft & due to the fact that the shaft is in close proximity of the catalytic converter & the air condition compressor which drains on the shaft.The problem with this is the heat from the converter causes the lubrication (grease) to be baked out of the cv head.This will cause the shaft to fail & commonly break in two causing possible expensive transmission damage. This Driveshaft comes with a 90 day Warranty. Warranty valid under normal use only (snowplowing, mud pulls, suspension alteration ect.) will void warranty.
