Springfield, Missouri, US
This is a brand new NV3500 5 speed transmission for a 1999-2006 Chevy 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive truck. It is brand new and is in the original crate. It has a tag on it that has Muncie GBDX 15769087 M008385. That part number shows to be replaced by 15020461 and 12572824. This tag shows up for the 4.3 V6 and I think it also fits the 4.8 V8 engines. I have found similar units online from $1500 and up. Buyer pays 200.00 truck freight in the continental U.S, provided I can ship it to a business address.

Design Contest: Michelin Challenge Design announces 2008 theme and call for entries
Tue, 30 Jan 2007Michelin Challenge Design, one of the world's fastest growing transportation design programs, has announced it will continue its focus on safety in 2008 under the central theme of 'Safety over Size.' The 2008 theme was announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where the Michelin Challenge Design exhibit showcased works from vehicle manufacturers, students, as well as the first full-size concept to be submitted by an independent entrant. Rising energy costs, urban congestion and environmental concerns are all contributing to an increased interest in smaller vehicles, but consumers are often hesitant to consider smaller vehicles due to safety concerns that are both real and perceived. Participating designers are encouraged to 'throw away the book' and to present ideas that enhance the real and perceived safety and security of smaller vehicles through design innovations in areas such as accident avoidance, enhanced driver controls, survivability and visibility.
