On hearing that Victoria Beckham (aka Posh Spice) had become Range Rover's Creative Design Executive last week, initial reaction was to check the date – was it April 1st? Callaway to give 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra a boost

Callaway has just announced the debut of supercharged versions of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks. This news comes only weeks after Callaway made known their intentions to fit market a version of the Silverado with an Eaton TVS supercharger. The Connecticut-based tuner has developed a new supercharger manifold and some other hardware for the new Chevrolet L83 Ecotec engine, which is expected to produce around 455 hp (though these are preliminary figures).

VW recalls 2014 vehicles for oil-cooler issue

Volkswagen notified the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently of an issue affecting the automatic transmission oil cooler in certain 2014 models. The recall has affected 26,452 vehicles overall, including the 2014 model year Passat, Jetta, Beetle and Beetle convertible, made between Feb. 1, 2014 and April 6, 2014.
