All used tires sold from RI Used Tire are checked using our "Double Protection System" or DPS. Our DPS was designed to protect our customers to the fullest. Every tire is visually checked for sidewall and/or any other visual defects. In addition to our visual inspection every used tire is blown up with our TI-95 Tire Inspector to insure that it is leak and bubble free.
Our DPS inspection is performed on every used tire when it arrives at our facility and once again right before we ship the tire(s) to our customers. We pride ourselves on our DPS because it protects everyone to the fullest and insures that our customers receive the best possible product.
Tire RepairAny tire that has been repaired at our facility has been done by Trained Professionals using "Patch Plugs" or "Mushroom Plugs". We only repair tires in the "Safety Zone" or tire tread. We never sell any tire that has been repaired on the side wall or repaired with a rope plug.
Patch Plugs is the only method of tire repair recommended by the "Tire Industry Association". When performed by a trained tire technician a patch plug will last the life of the tire.

Thu, 05 Dec 2013The McLaren P1 laps the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes Ever since Ron Dennis claimed the McLaren P1 would be able to lap the Nurburgring in under seven minutes, we’ve been waiting for McLaren to prove it. It seems their initial attempts failed to get below the magic 7 minute barrier – unlike the Porsche 918 Spyder which lapped the Nurburgring in 6m 57s – but last month we reported that the P1 seemed to have achieved its goal by going 10 seconds faster than the Porsche in an almost unbelievable 6 minutes 47 seconds. Unfortunately, we still don’t know officially just how quickly the P1 got round the Nurburgring, but we do now know that it was under 7 minutes thanks to a new video just released by McLaren.
17 definitive concept cars feature in new Atlanta exhibition

Dream Cars: Innovative Design, Visionary Ideas runs from 21 May to 7 September and includes 17 concept cars – and associated drawings and models – from the 1930s to the 21st Century. The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate how these vehicles shifted the notion of The Car from that of a purely functional device to an embodiment of future possibilities.
Toyota uses cash offers in bid to get rolling

Even the Prius is getting support, after having been excluded from the brand's lavish incentive program in the last quarter of 2008. Toyota put $750 in dealer cash on the hood of the hybrid car.
