Step by step instructions:

Clean the window of any finger prints, dirt and make sure it is dry.

You will need:

Washable maker (kids maker), scissors and plastic card (eg. membership card).

How to apply:

If you have a vent window. Cut the vinyl roughly so each piece comfortably covers the window.
With the window closed, peel the backing paper off. Roughly place the black side of the vinyl on the INSIDE window and keep the design visually straight. Then from the centre out, start to rub it down. If you have a crease, you can peel it back from that edge and rub the crease out from the centre. Rub the vinyl to the very edges of the window.
Then with a pencil lightly trace the sides and bottom edge of the window onto the vinyl.
Once happy, peel back one side at a time (do the top last) and cut 5mm (overlap) out from the pencil line with a scissors. Then rub back down and tuck the vinyl under the edges with a plastic card and under the bottom seal. To do the top, wind down the window, pencil the edge, peel up, cut the pencil line and rub back down.

GM to keep GMC, Pontiac, exec says

A senior General Motors executive today denied reports that President Barack Obama's automotive task force has pressured the automaker to dump GMC and Pontiac. Company sales chief Mark LaNeve also denied rumors that GM plans to terminate the franchise agreements of poorly performing dealers before June 1 to accelerate its dealership consolidation campaign. "The strategy we laid out for you [in February] is still the strategy," LaNeve, GM's vice president of vehicle sales, service and marketing, said today in an interview with Automotive News.

By swinging open its suicide doors (FlexDoors, in GMspeak), we're given our first peek inside ahead of the new Meriva's Geneva motor show debut.It's very Astra-like in here, with a horizontal, wraparound 'wing' section circling the dashboard and running into the door cards. And – at last – the chunky A-pillars on the previous Meriva have been slimmed down a little, removing some of the hideous blindspot that's blighted the first-gen mini-MPV.
