Toyota FT-HS Concept (2007): first official pictures
Sun, 03 Jun 2007By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 June 2007 02:33 Toyota FT-HS Concept: the lowdown Salvation for supercar lovers in the 21st century: Toyota has turned its hand to creating a sports coupe with green credentials - and the futuristic FT-HS Concept mixes green with mean rather well, we think. Don't believe us? Ian Callum’s hot-rod love affair: his 1932 Ford Hi-Boy Coupe
Thu, 28 Aug 2014By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 28 August 2014 16:32 Jaguar design director Ian Callum unveiled his new-for-2014 Mk2 today – but this is far from his first hot-rod influenced car. Back in February 2007, CAR ran a beautiful seven-page feature on Callum’s own project at the time: a lovingly restored 1932 Ford hot-rod. He’s been a fan of the rodding scene forever and back in 2001 he met Jon Golding of Home Grown Hot Rods.
BMW 3-series convertible (2006): first official pictures
Tue, 24 Oct 2006By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 24 October 2006 10:03 BMW 3-series convertible: the lowdown Here's the car BMW said it wouldn't develop: a 3-series convertible with a folding hard-top. Although condemned by the R&D team for being too heavy, raising the centre of gravity and sapping dynamic ability, BMW has been forced to listen to the market and introduce a glass and steel-roofed cabrio. With a large boot and easy access for luggage, the 3-series convertible promises to be practical, and the extra glass compared with a fabric cabrio should make it airy too.
