Lamborghini seized in police swoop

A LAMBORGHINI worth around £300,000 was among the vehicles seized by police during a crackdown on uninsured cars. The orange supercar was initially stopped by officers in Newham, east London as it had no front number plate, and further checks revealed the driver was not the registered owner. The Lamborghini Aventador - which does 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 217mph - was seized when police discovered the driver's insurance policy did not cover him to get behind the wheel of the luxury motor.

Audi to hold Urban Future Summit

Aiming to further the thinking initiated at the inaugural Urban Future Awards last year, 2011 will see Audi hold the Urban Future Summit on September 12 in Frankfurt, just prior to the start of the 64th international motor show. The symposium will feature presentations from internationally renowned speakers on the future of individual mobility in megacities, with participants from all over the world. 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid to make 377 hp

The 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. It will feature a new three-motor hybrid system and Acura's torque-vectoring Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive, along with 377 combined hp. The RLX continues with Acura's 3.5-liter V6 making 310 hp with variable cylinder management.
