See what Milwaukee uses for road de-icing
Mon, 30 Dec 2013There are a few different ways to make icy roads drivable, including spreading sand and salt on them. Here in Detroit, we use tons and tons (and tons) of rock salt on our crumbling roads in part because we're sitting on unbelievably massive salt deposits. Citroen DS3 WRC (2010): Loeb's new company wheels
Thu, 30 Sep 2010This is the new Citroën DS3 WRC, just unveiled at the 2010 Paris motor show. And it’s the car that everyone interested in world rallying has been waiting for – it’s Sébastien Loeb’s wheels for the 2011 World Rally Championship. Okay, we know it’s not as highly anticipated as the Mini Countryman WRC, but the reason we’re excited is that this could be the car to end Loeb’s reign – the Frenchman has won the last six WRC titles, will almost certainly take his seventh this year, but having an all-new car will hopefully reset the field and give Ford’s Fiesta RS WRC a chance.
Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster (2009)
Fri, 13 Mar 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 13 March 2009 16:30 Another week, another special edition Lamborghini - but this is the Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster, the most powerful Raging Bull this side of the new SV. Not a bit of it – this LP650-4 has 641bhp, 10bhp on the standard car. The peak torque figure and the four-wheel drive system remain unchanged, so the 0-62mph sprint time remains pegged at (a hardly lethargic) 3.4 seconds, but the top speed is up a few units to 205mph.
