Lexus debuts dedicated HS 250h hybrid at the Detroit auto show

However, joining them this summer is Lexus's first dedicated hybrid, the HS 250h, which made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show. MG6 CO2 emissions reduced to 129g/km

CO2 figures are down from 139g/km to 129g/km and average fuel consumption has been improved from a claimed 55.3mpg to 57.6mpg. This results in the MG6 dropping a tax band from E to D.

Despite a three-box profile, the 5.5-liter V12 diesel engine is located behind passengers, putting out 700PS. Transversely mounted with a wide V angle, the engine still allows space for four occupants, with a trunk accessed via a motorised opening.
