2001 Mercury 225 Optimax direct fuel injected outboard with 30" (XXL) shaft. This engine runs perfectly and has low New England seasonal hours of around 500+/-. This is a right hand (standard) rotation engine and was one of a set of twins . Lower unit and trim both work as they should and are in clean condition. The compression is perfect (115 +/-5lbs) in all 6 cylinders. The hood was stripped of the decals and professionally basecoat/clear coat painted with automotive paint and looks great. There is little corrosion anywhere and looks to be well maintained. This is a clean and good running engine that will provide you with reliable power. Auction is for the engine only. Shipping price is to a terminal where you can pick up or to a commercial location within the 48 contiguous USA states.

But that’s set to change this month with the new Jaguar F-Type officially going on sale on 20th April (in the UK, at least), when Jaguar are expecting many of the thousands of ‘Expressions of Interest’ in the F-Type to turn in to confirmed orders. 2012 BMW 3-Series GT caught being transported I can’t say we’ve really laid awake at night thinking about it, but the reveal of the BMW 3 Series GT must be getting close. As, for that matter, must the whole new 2012 BMW 3-Series. We first reported that BMW were making a 3-Series GT back in 2009, but we did know they wouldn’t be building one on the current platform, waiting instead for when the new 3-Series due to put in an appearance, probably at Frankfurt in the Autumn (if not before).
