Mon, 19 May 2014The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is heading for Goodwood It was back in 2012 that we exclusively revealed the first official details of the Koenigsegg One:1, the most extreme car Koenigsegg has produced. Since then, Christian von Koenigsegg and his team have not only built the Agera One:1, but they managed to sell them all first at a price that makes grown men weep and officially revealed it back in February. Since then, Koenigsegg have been busy showing off the One:1 in a series of videos and giving the One:1 its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
New Audi A2 EV Concept – first photos arrive
Wed, 07 Sep 2011New Audi A2 EV Concept - first photos It wouldn’t be a car show without yet another electric car concept from Audi. The shame is that Audi seem to have abandoned the range extender route they displayed with the Audi A1 e-Tron – a small Wankel engine in the boot to charge the batteries – and have instead gone down the costly cul-de-sac of a pure EV in the A2.
London rush hour 'worst in UK'
Thu, 05 Jun 2014ANALYSIS of in-car telematics data has revealed that London commuters get the worst deal in rush hour, with average speeds 30% slower than those across other British cities. The study of 20 million miles of telematics data by Direct Line Drive Plus shows that despite London having more congestion-fighting measures than anywhere else in the country, its road-based commuters suffer worse peak time traffic misery than anywhere else. During peak times, cars in Westminster travel at an average speed of just 10.06mph, compared to a figure of 14.38mph across the biggest British cities.
