Interior Motives announces shortlist for Student Design Awards 2009

Interior Motives magazine, sister publication of Car Design News, has revealed its shortlist for the seventh annual Interior Motives Design Awards. Handed down by a ten-strong panel of industry experts, the shortlist will be further reviewed before three finalists and a winner for each of the eight categories - and the overall competition winner - is ultimately selected and awarded on the eve of the second press day of the Frankfurt auto show. This year's competition, which saw a record number of entries from 60 schools and 30 different countries, was judged by a panel of industry experts, including Flavio Manzoni, Creative Design Director at VW Group; Ralph Gilles, Vice President of Product Design at Chrysler; Frank Stephenson, Design Director at McLaren; Dr.

Audi A1 – the design tease

Audi are teasing the design of the new A1 in this latest video (below) If you’ve been living in a cave for the last few months you may have missed the news that Audi is about to launch what it hopes will be a MINI-bashing offering – the Audi A1. The A1 is actually destined for a public launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March – and Audi has threatened full disclosure for next month – but in the meantime it’s on a ‘Teaser’ blitz. New Morgan Three Wheeler This really is a case of Morgan going back to its roots, with a traditional 3-wheel Morgan to tempt drivers looking for real, wind-in-the-hair, traditional motoring on a budget. A budget that will be just £25k + tax. Morgan say they’ve made the New Morgan Three-Wheeler as close to an aeroplane as possible, with space for driver and passenger and a bit of ‘stuff’ in the rear holdall.
