This is a genuine AAM ring and pinion in a 3:42 ratio for the American Axle front differential in 2007 and newer 4X4 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 series trucks. According to AAM there is a 3mm or 0.118 difference in deck height on the carrier as opposed to earlier models. They recommend using the 2007 and newer loader carrier part number 40031460 also available on our website. Considering these front axle housings have adjusters there may be enough adjustability in there for the difference. AAM has discontinued the early gearsets. We have used these in all year trucks in our shop with no issues. Shipping is a flat $25.00 in the continental U.S.

Mazda RX-8 – Just a few left

Fri, 27 Aug 2010

The Mazda RX-8 - fewer than 100 RHD cars left In an email that looked suspiciously like a warning from QVC that their latest pitched offering really is being gobbled up quickly, and you’ll have to pick up the phone NOW to secure their latest life-changing bit of tat, Mazda inform us that stocks of the Mazda RX-8 are down to the last knockings. We reported a bit back that the RX-8 was to make its way to the great scrapyard in the sky, another victim of the increasingly strict Euro emissions regulations - Euro 5 coming in to play in January 2011. So although the RX-8 will continue for now in some parts of the world,  production in Hiroshima has ended for the UK and Europe.

Audi Q4 ‘Coupe’ SUV previewed in design sketches

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

Is this Audi Concept, heading for Beijing, the new Audi Q4 Audi are taking the ‘Design Sketch’ route for their tease of a new concept heading for this month’s Beijing Motor Show, which almost certainly portray a concept version of a forthcoming Audi Q4. Apart from the sketches, Audi are being tight-lipped about what they’re taking to Beijing, but it certainly looks like a high-riding SUV concept with a more coupe roofline than either the Q3 or Q5. In fact, this new Audi Concept looks very like the Audi Allroad Shooting Brake Concept we saw at Detroit in January and points firmly to Audi looking to extenbd its reach in to ‘Lifestyle’ SUVs with more desighn than practicality.Which is no surprise – Audi love a niche, especially one that’s growing.

The Falcon F7 made its debut at the 2012 Detroit auto show. Since then, we haven't seen it. We were offered a test drive, but Falcon Motorsports cancelled it an hour before the appointed time, leaving us to wonder what happened.
