This is a gas fuel tank assembly from a 2003 Harley Davidson XL883 Sportster 100 year Anniversary Edition. Fits Harley Davidson XL883 and XL1200 models. It is in nice condition, except for a few scratches, the right side has dents, and the left side has a few chips, see pictures. The chrome emblems are in good condition and the Harley Davidson pin striping has no damage except for a small mark on the left side in front of the emblem. Inside of tank is clean with no rust. Includes chrome gas fuel cap and fuel petcock. Much cheaper than new retail price. May fit other models, check with your dealer. See our other auctions for more nice items from this bike.

Michelin Recognizes CCS Student Talent
Wed, 03 Feb 2010Five senior students from the Transportation Design Department of the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit have won prestigious design awards at the 21st Annual Michelin-CCS Design Competition. The creative brief for the competition theme "Electrifying - Beautiful, Innovative and Radiant" required the students to submit electric vehicle design solutions they could realistically envision driving in the year 2020, as well as designs which addressed a specific transportation problem or opportunity. Each student also submitted a separate tire/wheel assembly based on Michelin's Active Wheel technology.

Lincoln opens first dedicated design studio for 40 years
Fri, 19 Oct 2012Ford has opened the first dedicated Lincoln design center for 40 years in Dearborn, Michigan, as part of its ongoing brand reinvention. Last August Ford announced it would be creating the studio for its luxury brand as well as increasing spending, giving it unique interiors and powertrains in an effort to differentiate it from the core Ford offerings. The Lincoln Design Studio has been built on the campus of Ford's Product Development center and houses designers, sculptors, modelers and engineers who make up part of a larger Lincoln Product Development team that will create four new Lincoln vehicles by 2015.
