Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award

Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. UK still a nation of middle-lane hoggers

DRIVERS in the UK are still hogging the middle lane and the M25 is the worst road for this poor driving habit. One in six British drivers admits hogging the middle lane and drivers over the age of 65 are the most likely to do this. Five of the top 10 worst stretches of road for middle lane hoggers were on the M25 that orbits London, making it the worst road in the UK for this driving behaviour.
