MINI Crossman/Countryman Camouflage Tease Here we go again – more teases. This time it’s the MINI SUV – either MINI Countryman or MINI Crossman – which is the new MINI 4×4 we can expect to see at the Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks. We had the MINI Brachcomber Concept at Detroit last week which was the first real ‘In the Metal’ clue on the new MINI SUV, admittedly without doors or a roof.

As we’ve reported in the last few weeks, Ford has been trying its best to offload Volvo, the last of its ‘Prestige’ Euro marques. The Chinese looked to be the best bet, but it seems that that is going nowhere at the moment (the Chinese are probably waiting for Ford to get in to an even deeper mess with the hope of picking up Volvo for peanuts) and now its seems that Ford’s fire-sale has drawn more blanks. Now the Germans turn down the chance to own Volvo Der Spiegel reports that Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) boss Dieter Zetsche has revealed that Daimler has turned down the chance to buy Volvo, and has also revealed that BMW has had a good look, and reached the same decision.

Fiat's U.S. arm is hoping that the Abarth-tuned antisocial edition of its diminutive 500 will inject some heat into the model's disappointing sales figures. Pricing it starting at $22,000, not including destination charges, should make the heated, tiny Italian more compelling to hot-hatch enthusiasts.
