Had an idle issue with my 2005 Jetta and auto parts store said code was the Idle Air Control and a dealer only part. VW dealership advised Idle Air Control is built into throttle body, so I replaced the whole unit. Didn't fix the problem and ended up having the dealership fix what was actually wrong. Has about 101k miles on it, original VW part, didn't know what number was the actual part number so didn't add to the listing. Cleaned it up and looking to salvage some of the cost of the new throttle body.

2015 Honda Pilot line to get SE trim
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Honda is spicing up its 2015 Pilot line by adding a model between the EX and EX-L trim levels. The LX model starts at $30,700--a bump of $200 over the previous year--and the two-wheel-drive SE model starts at $33,950. The eight-passenger Pilot SE comes with pewter gray aluminum-alloy wheels, SE badging, a one-touch moonroof, satellite radio and a DVD player.
New Car Sales Increase Again
Wed, 06 Aug 2014NEW registrations in July 2014 totalled 172,907 - a 6.6% rise on the July 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. The latest figures took the year-so-far total to 1,460,172 - a 10.1% rise on the January-July 2013 total. As a result, the SMMT has now upwardly revised its prediction for sales for the whole of 2014, forecasting that a total of 2.45 million could be reached.
