Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA – some proper details
Thu, 19 Feb 2009I know, we do keep moaning about car makers playing tease in the run-up to a car launch. And Alfa has been playing the game recently on the MiTo GTA, releasing a couple of pointless shots of the upcoming MiTo GTA (another Geneva launch). So pointless were they that we didn’t bother with them, but now we have a proper image it’s definitely worth a show.
Maybach Exelero for sale – ish
Fri, 28 May 2010A Swiss Company is offering replica Maybach Exeleros We’re not huge fans of the Maybach here at Cars UK, as you’ll know if you’ve been here before. It’s just so ill-conceived it beggars belief that a company as savvy and successful as Mercedes can’t see it. Mind you, we’re convinced they’ve just about given up on Maybach – even though they deny it – and the 100 Maybach Coupes being built by Xenatec are a swansong to the marque, which we’re convinced will go the same way it did in its previous life by simply stopping production.
First Chinese MGs built
Tue, 27 Mar 2007By Jack Carfrae Motor Industry 27 March 2007 02:17 Today is an historic day for Nanjing Automotive as the first MG built outside Longbridge will leave the production line at Nanjing’s factory in China. Around 1000 visitors are gathering at the plant to join in with the celebrations, where the new, Chinese-built MGs will be on display (above). The first cars off the production lines are the MG TF and the MG 7, which Brits will remember as the MG ZT.
