Japanese Grand Prix (2011) RESULT
Sun, 09 Oct 2011Japanese Grand Prix 2011 The reality of the 2011 Japanese Grand Prix is not about who wins the race, but whether Sebastian Vettel can grab the single point needed to clinch the 2011 F1 Drivers title. And from the start he looked like he’d taken a leaf of the Schumacher/Senna book on how to finish off an opponent as he forced Jenson Button off on to the grass as the Brit came powering up his inside from the start. Tue, 31 Jul 2012The Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar has been revealed in traditional Martini Racing livery, an option available to buyers. But now Porsche has gone the whole hog and struck a deal with Martini to revive the Martini Racing livery used by Porsche in the 1970s for its new hybrid supercar, and buyers of the 918 Spyder will be able to option their new car up with Martini logos.
Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. On Bing: see pictures of the Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept Find out how much a used Aston Martin costs on Auto Trader It’s no secret the firm has been toying with the idea of a premium SUV following the Lagonds concept, so with Mercedes technical expertise and existing model range, it opens up potential new models to Aston Martin.
