Driven: a week with a Chevrolet Volt
Mon, 22 Aug 2011In Fall 2010, before the Volt went on sale in North America, we sampled an early build model and came away so impressed, we declared it the car for the digital age. Since then the car has received harsh criticism from the press and been outsold by the Nissan Leaf in the North American market. Where is Nissan and Infiniti design headed? Just look at the lamps
Mon, 26 Apr 2010For a glimpse at future styling trends from Nissan Motor Co., look to the headlamps on the Nissan Leaf electric car and the sculpted rear of the Infiniti M. The goal: Win young drivers and bring sales of models such as the Nissan Altima in line with Japanese rivals "The important thing is the front end and the rear end," Nakamura said during an April 12 interview at the company's main design studio south of Tokyo.
Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV (2009) unveiled
Thu, 01 Oct 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 01 October 2009 15:20 This is the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV, the Japanese car company’s star attraction at this month’s 2009 Tokyo motor show. Externally the PX-MiEV drops heavy hints towards the styling of the next Outlander, but Mitsubishi has pared back the design and purposely avoided adding the 'rugged'’ elements so common to SUVs.
