APR Carbon Fiber Wind Splitter
fits 2011-2014 Dodge Charger R/T SXT and SE (non SRT8 Bumpers)

Add style and function to your 2011-2014 Dodge Charger R/T, SXT and SE with the APR Performance Carbon Fiber Front Bumper Splitter. To combat the effects of front end lift, APR Front Wind Splitters are utilized to give extra traction and control in the front of a car. By creating a high pressure area on top of the wind splitter, high pressure air flow is restricted to flow underneath a car. With low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control.

Features:

*Carbon Fiber Reinforcement: All APR Front Wind Splitters are reinforced with sheets of carbon fiber.

*Fully Functional Undertray: Our Front Wind Splitters are not just add on cosmetic pieces. Every APR Front Wind Splitter completely covers the entire area below a cars front bumper. This allows for smoother air flow below the front bumper, creating more efficient downforce.

*Support Rods Included: Supporting every APR Front Wind Splitters are stainless steel Support Rods.

NOTE: If your Dodge Charger has the auto cruise control with front collision detection/prevention, installing the support rods at times will not allow your car to activate that option.  Front Bumper (Fascia) NOT included.

Jaguar hybrid cars due in 2013-14

Thu, 13 May 2010

Jaguar will launch its own hybrid vehicles soon after Land Rover, CAR can confirm. Parent company Jaguar Land Rover is developing battery-assisted hybrid versions for both brands but its strategy puts part-electric Land Rovers first on the launchpad in 2013.Hybrid Jaguars – set to include the XJ and XF, but eventually every model – are therefore likely to be on the market by 2013-2014, using a similar eight-speed ZF hybrid transmission to petrol-electric BMWs.The staggered roll-out of battery Jags and Land Rovers makes sense: heavy 4x4s have come in the firing line from green protestors who label them Chelsea Tractors. Hybrid Land Rovers will trim emissions and – in plug-in hybrid mode – enable even big bulky Range Rovers to drive in zero-emissions mode into central urban areas emitting nothing more unsaintly than an electric whir.So which Jaguars will go hybrid first? It's likely that the largest models such as the XJ will receive the hybrid power packs first; large cars reap the greater benefit and can more easily swallow the additional cost, put at around £10,000 in today's money.JLR's Midlands engineering bases in Whitley and Gaydon now employ 100 engineers in the expanding hybrid powertrain business unit launched 18 months ago.

What would the Ninja Turtles drive?

Thu, 27 Mar 2014

The new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” live-action trailer made its online debut today. The four heroes in a half shell are back in New York, with a tarted-up Megan Fox playing April O'Neil -- somehow without red hair. William Fichtner plays The Shredder, and Danny Woodburn plays sensei Splinter.
