Mercedes CLC to debut as Mercedes-Benz Concept Style Coupe? It looks like the new Mercedes CLC – a mini CLS based on the new A Class – will debut at a film and food festival in LA as the Concept Style Coupe. We know that a mini CLS based on the new Mercedes A Class is planned, and we know it’s likely to be the Mercedes CLC (or any number of other potential monikers including CLA and BLS) and will probably even spawn a CLC Shooting Brake version too.

The Porsche 918 RSR – the Hybrid Racing Lab We thought that Porsche’s something special was likely to be a Porsche 918 Spyder Coupe for the track, especially after this morning’s tease. And it is. The Porsche 918 RSR takes the 918 Spyder from Geneva last year and crosses it with 911 GT3 R Hybrid to create the next stage of Porsche’s hybrid journey.

The new BMW offerings at Geneva are the debut of the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo and the European debut of the BMW i3 Coupe Concept. There’s nothing at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show from BMW that will set the column inches flowing, but BMW does have a couple of debuts in Switzerland to tickle interest – the 3 Series GT and the i3 Coupe Concept. The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo comes under the heading of ‘Why would you build that’ (although, to be fair, we thought the same about the 6 Series Gran Coupe until we reviewed it) when BMW already offers the 3 Series Touring and, if you want something bigger, the 5 Series.
