Finish Detail:

PVD Chrome with Black Chrome Insert: PVD coating is a vacuum deposition process that has received increasing use in recent years and is no longer seen as a laboratory process. It has been scaled up to handle large complex part geometries at an affordable cost. Many companies have realized benefits from converting their product from electroplating to PVD coating. Coatings can be deposited from room temperature to as high as 500 degrees Celsius depending on the substrate and the application. The PVD process provides a more uniform deposit, improved adhesion up to six times greater in some cases, wider choice of materials to be deposited and there are no harmful chemicals to dispose of. Due to the nature of the processing, some inclusions (air bubbles and/or fish eyes) may appear on each wheel in the clear coat. These inclusions are normal. Inclusions are not considered to be a defect and do not effect the longevity of the chrome finish. Because PVD coating is more environmentally friendly and chemical disposal costs are minimal, the cost of PVD coating and electroplating is very close on some products. Upon completion of PVD coating, an injection molded polymer insert is applied to the wheel.

Free Mounting and Balancing!

Mounted, Balanced and Bolt-on-Ready!
We include mounting and balancing with every wheel and tire package at no additional charge. Our balancing is performed on a Hunter Road Force GSP9700 balancer, the same machine used in Indy and NASCAR circuits. The Hunter Vibration Control System “road tests” the tire and wheel assembly during the mounting and balancing process. The Road Force Measurement® System applies up to 1400 pounds of pressure against the tire, while rotating the wheel and tire at high speeds, simulating road force conditions. This process assures the smoothest ride possible.

Mission:

Our mission statement is simple. To sell the highest quality product at the best price possible and give 100 percent customer service and satisfaction.

McLaren 650S (2014) first official pictures

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 17 February 2014 13:00 Punchier, a few kilos lighter, more incisive to drive yet more luxurious, McLaren has overhauled the 12C to create the 650S. The new supercar – which makes the 12C look obsolete – is in production now, and will cost punters around £195,000 for the coupe. A folding hard-top spider will also be available, for around £215,000. In a strategy reminiscent of Aston Martin’s continuous improvement of the DB9 and its transformation into the Vanquish, McLaren has revamped the carbonfibre 12C with 25% new parts.

Craigslist Catch: 1973 Porsche 914

Mon, 18 Apr 2011

Yeah, we're stirring the pot a little today. But one of our goals here at autoweek.com is to get our readers talking, and what's more likely to do that than the Porsche 914? No matter your opinion of the 912's successor, this Vancouver-based example appears to have most of the bugs worked out--with the exception of the engine, which is still all Bug.

Video: Targa Newfoundland claims a Ferrari Enzo

Fri, 16 Sep 2011

While competing in the 2011 Targa Newfoundland Rally, driver Zahir Rana crashed his highly customized Ferrari Enzo into the Atlantic Ocean. Both Rana and his navigator, Roland Linder, were unharmed in the incident, and the vehicle appears to be in good cosmetic shape despite its submerged state. With an infinitely better attitude than most, Rana and Linder expressed their perspective on competitive risks and their outlooks on returning to racing.
