I have set of high-end 22" Asanti AF132 3-piece forged aluminum wheels and very good tires for sale.   These wheels were designed for the Range Rover (both full size and Sport version) and the BMW X5 from 2000-2009.   This wheelset was on a 2009 Range Rover Supercharged.  These wheels have a black face and a chrome lip.  A nice thing about upgrading to a 22” wheel as opposed to a 24” is that you get the benefit of a larger wheel but will not sacrifice the ride quality as you would with a 24” wheel.   Please bid with confidence as eBay has qualified me as an "ID verified" eBay member.    Bolt pattern is 5X120.  These will also work on the new 2013 chassis Range Rover.

Wheels:  9.5X22, tire size (285/35ZR22)

These wheels are in excellent condition and straight, true and balanced.  The really isn't any curb scrapes to mentioned but a few very light marks/scrapes that are barely visible.   I have used the “supersize” picture option to demonstrate the quality and finish so please take advantage of it.   The wheels are wrapped with Durun F-one tires and I have pictured the front and then rear tread pics respectively but the tires have a ton of tread remaining at least 90% tread remaining.  I receive a substantial fedex shipping discount which I pass onto you so shipping will be between $35 -$45 per wheel within the U.S. and if outside the U.S. please contact me. If you need the wheels sooner don't hesitate to contact me. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me. If you want to see them in Newport Beach, CA please contact me.

NY Times reporter says he followed Tesla's advice

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

A New York Times reporter says he was following the advice of Tesla employees when he drove an electric Model S sedan beyond its indicated range in an effort to reach a recharging station. Responding to a blog post by Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk highly critical of his original article, Times reporter John Broder on Thursday said he did not set out to sabotage the test drive -- refuting one of Musk's most-damning points. Broder also refutes Musk's claim that he drove the car around a parking lot in a deliberate attempt to fully discharge the battery -- Broder says he was looking for the recharge station in a poorly lighted rest stop at night.
