24 oz fiberglass woven Roving, 9" leno to leno, approx. 150 ft/ roll, approx. 19 lb/ roll, approx.
The product is new.
However, we consider it as factory seconds. while it stays in its tolerances for any application, it has some weave errors, which you will not see in the final application when covered with resin and painted.
Weave errors can be:
- broken string
- broken thread at the edge called Leno
- one side has short feathered edge, the other is much longer, which can be easily fixed by trimming with scissors it really is more esthetic and appearance than actual technical difficiencies. We could fix these errors, but it would not be feasible to sell it at industrial level. Therefore we offer these unfixed at significantly reduced prices.

These items are ideal for body shops, home applications, tank repairs.

New BMW M1 isn’t happening

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

BMW won’t be building a new M1 A new BMW M1 Supercar has been mooted for some time – BMW even produced the M1 Homage in 2008 – but it’s not going to happen. We’ve expected BMW to bite the bullet at some point and recreate its mid-engined M1 Supercar. After all, car makers like a halo and, although BMW has some very impressive cars, they don’t really have anything like the Mercedes SLS.

Hyundai Suicide ‘Advert’ causes a rumpus

Fri, 26 Apr 2013

It’s not easy advertising your wares and finding the right balance between mainstream and innovative to capture attention, as Hyundai has found out to their cost with an ‘advert’ for the hydrogen powered ix35 FCEV which, rather distastefully, depicts a man trying to commit suicide by running a hose from the tailpipe to the cabin before realising he can’t achieve his aim as the FCEV’s only emissions are water. It’s a proper cock-up from Hyundai – usually so sure-footed with their PR – but, despite Hyundai US putting the blame at the door of Hyundai UK, there’s more to this suicide ‘advert’ than meets the eye. It seems the suicide video was put together by Innocean – a European Ad Agency owned by Hyundai’s Chairman Chung Mong-koo and his daughter, and responsible for much of Hyundai’s marketing output – and was a clumsy attempt to gauge reaction to the somewhat macabre take on the benefits of an FCEV.
