28 feet long Custom Tow Rope with heavy duty eyes spliced on both ends.  Comes with a Clear factory Marine coating then a Black Urethane Coating is added for additional abrasion resistance.

Has eyes (loops) on both ends of the rope and chafe protection is installed inside each eye.

Price includes two spliced eyes with chafe guard and 35' of original rope to put the splices in.

This rope has good kinetic properties so it will last longer and be easier on equipment.  Nylon stretches and retracts for smooth mooring and towing. It is not a low stretch product like polyester or Dyneema.

Michelin Challenge Design 2014 winners revealed

The winners of the Michelin Challenge Design 2014 have just been revealed at a private event in Detroit's Renaissance Center following the first press day of the NAIAS. Chris Luchowiec of Poland was awarded first place for his ‘BOT' design, a completely autonomous transportation solution for relatively low populated areas. His concept is designed to address the issue of lone car commuters, traffic congestion and the generally poor experience of mass transit use.

Volkswagen will buy 42 percent of Porsche's sports-car business en route to a full merger by the end of 2011, the companies announced Thursday. VW will pay $4.7 billion for its initial stake in Porsche. It positions the new company to have 10 brands and global sales of 6.4 million, and Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn is likely to lead the entity.
